Quotes & bookings

Quotes are given following a description of the work or, for most jobs, a site visit. Prices are based on the access and scope discussed at that time; if the scope changes once work is underway, we'll agree any change in price with you before continuing.

Permissions & protected trees

Where a tree is protected by a Tree Preservation Order or falls within a conservation area, work cannot start until the required consent or notice period has been granted or has passed. It's the customer's responsibility to inform us of anything they know about a tree's protected status, though we will also check this ourselves before quoting.

Access & site conditions

The customer is responsible for ensuring reasonable access to the work area and for pointing out anything not visible on inspection, such as underground services, septic tanks or buried structures.

Waste & clearance

Unless agreed otherwise, arisings and waste from the job are removed as part of the price. Customers wishing to keep logs or chippings should let us know before work starts.

Payment

Payment terms are agreed at the time of quoting. Please contact us directly if you have any questions about an invoice.

Liability

We take reasonable care to protect property, planting and surfaces while working, and will discuss any risk to nearby structures with you before starting a job.
